چکیده
The effect of adding cellulose and CaCO3 as a bioplastic filler was studied. source is obtained from elephant grass plants, while oyster shell waste. primary raw material for bioplastics tapioca starch with glycerol plasticizer using the solution casting method. resulting are thin transparent but not very elastic, thickness 1 mm. mechanical properties test tensile strength between 1-3 MPa elongation 1-4.4%. Physical results density 0.313-0.33 g/mL water absorption 31.94-81.16%. morphological showed that surface getting more uneven filler. use fillers without combination better than fillers.

Transesterification of soybean oil using combusted oyster shell waste as a catalyst.
Transesterification of soybean oil catalyzed by combusted oyster shell, which is waste material from shellfish farms, was examined. Powdered oyster shell combusted at a temperature above 700 degrees C, at which point the calcium carbonate of oyster shell transformed to calcium oxide, acted as a catalyst in the transesterification of soybean oil. On the basis of factorial design, the reaction co...

The innovative study was carried out to produce nano-cellulose based bioplastic biomaterials for vehicle use coming after bioprocess technology. The data show that nano-cellulose particle size was 20 nm and negligible water absorption was 0.03% in the bioplastic. Moreover, burning test, size and shape characterizations, spray coating dye, energy test and firmness of bioplastic have been explore...

The objective of this experiment was to evaluate the effects of adding cassava scrapings on gas and effluent losses, dry matter recovery, pH, contents of N-NH3, organic acids and volatile fatty acids and the bromatological composition of elephant grass silages. It was used a randomized complete design, with four levels of cassava scrapings (0, 7, 15 or 30% natural matter) each one with four rep...
متن کاملStudy of the Biodisintegration on a Painted Bioplastic Material Waste
The influence of the painting process on a biocompostable waste is studied. Disintegration degree (D %) of a 100% biocompostable plastic made from potato almidon is calculated for both painted and non -painted samples. Solid matrix is also characterized by means of a laboratory scaled composting process following UNE-EN norms [2, 3]. It can be concluded that painting has a negative influence on...
